'BROKE DOWN' GOES TOP 40, LANDING AT #37 ON THE MUSICROW COUNTRY BREAKOUT CHART

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 7, 2017) - Country's Macy Martin has once again taken a coveted Top 40 spot on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart, landing at #37 with latest single "Broke Down", which released in February. 

This is Martin's second Top 40 single - previous single "Heart Sleeve Soul" also took the #37 spot on MusicRow. 

"Country radio has been so good to me," said Martin. "To have a second consecutive Top 40 is a dream come true. I'm so thankful."

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 24, 2017) - Country artist Macy Martin released new single "Broke Down" during this week's Country Radio Seminar in Nashville, Tenn. The song, written by Matt Alderman, Liz Sharpe, Sam Brooker and Broken Bow artist Brooke Eden, is Martin's fifth single release to country radio.

"This was one of those situations where the best song won," said Martin. "I do a lot of writing, and have a lot of great material. But this song spoke to me. It's a fun delivery of a story many of us have lived and experienced - I'm excited for the fans to hear it."

Contest Winners Attend Star's "Pure & Simple" Show in St. Louis with Up-and-Coming Artist

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 1, 2016) - Country up-and-comer Macy Martin surprised a few KWWR listeners last week, stopping at the station in Mexico, Mo. to give away two tickets to fellow Kent Wells Productions artist Dolly Parton's Pure&Simple Tour. Winner Tammy Powell and her brother Ernie Turner joined Martin at Parton's St. Louis show on Saturday, July 30th for a night that included VIP seating and passes to meet the country icon. 

"Dolly is the true definition of our country genre," said Martin. "Being able to provide tickets for fans and share in such a special evening with them was an incredible experience - and certainly one I feel fortunate to have provided."

Martin has also given out VIP tickets and meet and greet passes to Parton's Des Moines, Iowa and Kansas City stops, and will be surprising listeners at future stops throughout her radio tour.

"Heart Sleeve Soul", produced by Kent Wells (Dolly Parton producer, guitarist and band leader), scored a high-debut on the MusicRow Country Breakout Chart just a few weeks after its release to country radio, landing in the #89 spot. Last week, the single jumped seven spots to #82.

(July 19, 2016) – Adam Wakefield of NBC’s The Voice Season 10 will join forces with fellow artists Macy Martin, Lewis Brice and Skye Claire for a special Sound Image-sponsored performance Sunday, August 7 beginning at 7 p.m. at Nashville’s 12th & Porter. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alliance of Therapy Dogs & Paws for Hope in their efforts to comfort the the victims in the PULSE nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, those affected by the shooting in Dallas, TX, and first responders in both cities.
